Iwo Jima was the site of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II. Many marines lost their lives while pulling the enemy forces out from the caves and tunnels where they were hiding.
A war is also raging on the fertile soil of our hearts, and too many lives have already been lost. We will never win our families—let alone a world—to Christ, until we raise the standard in our own lives.
God is calling God's people to the front lines to raise the standards of service, holiness, prayer, thanksgiving, praise, and worship far above the status quo of church as usual.
Determine to go into their dens of adversity, defeat, and strife and drag the enemy out of your life. Our children cannot live and your marriage cannot survive unless the devil is banished from your lives.
It is time for us to storm the beach, take the mountain and plant the banner of Jehovah-Nissi, our banner of completed victory!
Jehovah-Nissi, I raise Your banner and standard
high. I declare Your victory in the face of every
situation I face. Equip me to be Your
standard-bearer. Amen.
